Income Qualified Weatherization & Lighting Support
The following weatherization and lighting purchases by income qualified co-op members are eligible for a PVREA rebate.
We recommend contacting our Energy Experts prior to purchase and installation.
Submit your complete rebate application within 90 days of purchase.
Final invoice(s) must include the member’s name and address of installation, the order purchase date, and the total cost.
Rebates of $250 or less are applied to your monthly PVREA bill as a credit. Rebates over $250 are issued to you as a check.
Requirements
Consumers must meet the income and other qualifications of the Federal Weatherization Assistance Program as implemented in Colorado. Income qualification guidelines can be found at the Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP).
Members may own or rent their residences as single family homes, multi-family units, duplexes, and other rental locations where at least 66% of the units qualify under the low-income guideline
Multi-family housing may have a special case where only a portion of the units are occupied by low-income qualified participants. Contact us to understand the percentage of low-income units that must qualify before all units may be retrofit under this program.
